There is an internet thinking advocated by "Focus, Extreme, Word-of-mouth, Speed" called Lei Jun's Internet Thinking. Under the guidance of this thinking, Xiaomi has repeatedly created sales myths. So, can such a concept also succeed when applied to the industrial field?

"I want to focus on making a super cost-effective product, take it to the extreme, and then use the rapid dissemination characteristics of animation to demonstrate equipment operation and maintenance through animation, solve customer pain points, and accumulate good word-of-mouth." After hearing about the idea of Mr. Zhu from Top-Color Intelligent, Xuncheng decided to specially customize a promotional animation for them.

 

Setting the Tone with Technology, Starting from the Intro

A good intro can not only quickly capture the customer's attention but also subconsciously position the company's products. The intro for Top-Color's printing linkage line starts with a beam of light, then a chip embedded with the Top-Color logo. The camera then zooms out to reveal the tech-savvy appearance of the equipment, followed by a pan to the front of the device. Under the rapid flow of several light beams, the true appearance of the equipment is gradually revealed. This kind of camera design sets a tech-savvy tone for the entire video right from the start.

In the subsequent video, to maintain this tone, we chose tech blue as the main background color for the entire video and, through detailed design in multiple shots, continuously deepened and implemented the technological elements from the intro.

 

1. Control Center Demonstration

When demonstrating the operation of each screen in the control center, we chose dual-axis dashed lines as the conductive wires connecting the screens, echoing the light beam design in the intro. This demonstrates that the control center can unify the operation of die-cutting, slotting, printing, and feeding units, while also continuing the tech-savvy tone and further deepening the viewer's impression of Top-Color.

 

2. Factory Panoramic Display

After displaying the panoramic view of the factory, we employed the perspective technique in 3D animation, weakening irrelevant structural parts into blue lines, making the top-down view of the entire factory outline resemble a chip shape. Thus, even in the equipment demonstration phase, the overall tone of the video and the foreshadowed elements from the intro were maintained.

Embed Operation and Maintenance Animation, Create a Worry-Free Equipment Usage Concept

This promotional animation video, produced by us for Top-Color Intelligent, is 7 minutes long and details the overall configuration and highlights of each unit of Top-Color's printing linkage line. Additionally, we specifically embedded the operation and maintenance animation previously created for Top-Color. Subsequently, Top-Color's sales representatives took this promotional animation from street to street, presenting the advanced concept of "worry-free equipment usage" to customers. Ultimately, with this promotional point directly addressing customer pain points, Top-Color secured numerous orders. By last year, Top-Color Intelligent's sales exceeded 100 million yuan, with over half sold abroad.
